Hulleys of Baslow have announced an amendment to their 257 service from February 17th. There will now be 256/257/258 services
A new service 256 will be introduced operating from Sheffield to Castleton on Monday to Saturday. Service 257 remains unchanged and will operate between Sheffield and Bakewell on Monday to Saturday. But there will be some changes to the times. A new service 258 will be introduced operating from Sheffield to Bakewell but only on Sundays. But given that all bus companies are still suffering unreliability issues and cutbacks due to driver shortages it still pays to check before you set out.

Northern Trains are offering upto a 65% discount on fares booked online in advance
Advance fares are available on selected routes across the Northern network and you'll be able to choose the best time to travel at the lowest available fare.
Advance tickets are great value Single (one-way) tickets but have limited availability. Book ahead to take advantage of these great value fares. Advance tickets are made available by train operators up to 6 weeks ahead of travel but, subject to availability, you can still get a last-minute bargain up until 23:59 on the day before travel.
Northern are still offering their Duo tickets on certain routes. These are a great way to get out and about by train with a friend whilst saving a little cash. There's no need for a Railcard either, simply buy your ticket and travel together to save 25%.
There are also discounts available to make easier if you’re taking your children with you. Its always worth asking or going online to find out about cheaper rail travel.
Since this was written, Northern and the other train operating companies have started the Great Brish Rail Sale offering various (usually) off peak tickets at reduced prices. These, are available from 10:00am, 19 April 2022 until 23.59, 2 May 2022 and are only applicable for journeys taken between 25 April 2022 and 27 May 2022.
Other Ts & Cs will probably also apply, but they might be worth checking out
